Children are positive - parents negative?

Both dc have covid and are on day 6 and 7. DH and I have tested negative on 2 pcr tests and all lateral flows. We have no symptoms but neither did my youngest so I've no idea how long he had it around us before he isolated.

I'm just waiting for it to get me but wondering if it won't?

They are both isolating upstairs but I'm still taking food to them etc and talking to them about school work etc - just keeping my distance.

Are there any parents out there that didn't catch it when there children had it? Or is it just a matter of time until I get it?

We suspect ours came from double vaccinated DH and then passed to me also double vaccinated and DD 15. Around 11 days between two. All started with gastric symptoms then cold then few days later the cough, all very ill with it.

The average time I think is 5.8 days and infectious for 8 days so you may escape though would keep your distance for a few more days.

DC on day five after positive test and me and DH have not caught it, and she has literally sneezed in my face!

15 yr old DS had it, isolation now up, he’s on day 13 today, and 7 others of us in the house have stayed clear
