I tested positive on a LFT on Saturday and PCR on Sunday...after my son had v v minor symptoms and a positive LFT on Thursday.
No doubt we've got it. But I really don't feel bad at all...not even as bad as a normal cold... and am on day 3 or 4. Can I relax and presume this is as bad as I'm going to get it...or is it possible that it could still take a horrible turn for the worse? Anyone had that happen? If so on what day? I've had no temperature/aches/chills... very very minor sore throat, slightly snotty nose and coughed a tiny bit. If it wasn't for my sin being positive I'd have felt very over cautious for testing with these symptoms...

I am on day 6/7 here, I havent had a temp the entire time. Have a had a cough for a few days but not a bad cough at all. Sinus related headache, blocked nose first few days, lost smell on Day 4/5 followed by taste. None of these have been terrible but very distracting as it changes each day but never to the point when I feel I should be in bed. My chest has felt tight sometimes but I have asthma and I havent had to taken extra medication for that either yet. Fingers crossed it doesnt get worse and I start to get my sense of smell back soon, taste is kinda on the way back I think.

Apparently, days 8 to 10 is when it can clear up or take a turn for the worse.

In my case, I had a hot feeling in my lungs which freaked me out a bit on day 7 because I'd never felt anything it and feared the worst but it cleared up. This was pre vaccines.

Odds are good that it will clear up, especially if young and vaccinated.
