Very interesting if people want to listen.

So, our children can over ride the parents decision on the vaccine. They're saying if a parent says no and a child decides they want to, they can give that vaccine without the parents decision. Thoughts?

My concern is that a child is coerced by school or peers. " You want to have the vaccine to protect Granny, don't you" type of thing. This is so far from informed consent...

Yeah, I think there is a possibility that teens will be emotionally blackmailed into accepting the jab. It would be highly unprofessional and unethical of all involved but my faith in people to act with integrity after this year of watching people who would happily burn through basic rights if it achieved the result that they want, is at an all time low.

Oh, and given that anyone who talks against the grain is considered a rabid anti- vaxxer with no skin in the game, I'm a cev adult who is over the bloody moon about the efficacy and safety of the covid jab.

One thing that strikes me: is anyone talking about Gillick competency in the opposite direction?

Theoretical for me because DD is still under 12, but if I sign the form and she refuses the jab what happens? Presumably they don't pin her down and forcibly inject her. But in the news it seems to be all 'crazy anti-vaxx parents refusing the jab and sensible 12-15 year olds wanting to override that'.
