Who's happy to have it?

A booster?

If I'm eligible, yes I'll accept one.

whatswithtodaytoday · 25/08/2021 11:18

I'm very keen for my over-70 parents to get it, and worried that the government are going to decide not to bother.

If/when I'm eligible I'll happily have it. My immunity will be waning by January which is a bit of a worry.

Tatum1234 · 25/08/2021 11:20

Yes definitely

heldinadream · 25/08/2021 11:43

Yes please.

failedbyGP · 25/08/2021 11:44

Yes, although the UK government seems increasingly anti-vaxx in terms of young people, children, boosters.
After actually being almost world-beating at something, the government is now aiming for the lowest/worst ranking again (relative to other developed countries).

Cookerhood · 25/08/2021 11:57

Yes, but I would like to see more evidence that it is actually necessary. Also I would like to see countries such as Africa being able to vaccinate large numbers first.

nordica · 25/08/2021 12:10

Not that my age group is likely to get offered one anytime soon (under 50) but I'd rather wait for a booster that's been tweaked for Delta or whatever else is the variant responsible for most infections in the UK at that time. As it's looking like it's the new variants that make the vaccine less effective compared to the variant it was developed for last year.

rosie39forever · 25/08/2021 12:20

For my elderly parents, in-laws and CEV dh yes definitely, but not too fussed for myself even though I'm over 50.

nether · 25/08/2021 12:22

Definitely!

We have a CEV person in the household, who should be in group 1 (if they use the currently published interim recommendations) and the rest of us will be group 2

TreaslakeandBack · 25/08/2021 12:25

I’d like my parents to have it ASAP. DH won’t be to of the list but hope he can get one.
I had Covid in May after being double jabbed, happy to have it but also to wait until nearer Dec/ Jan.
I hope we start boosting soon!

Whiskers4 · 25/08/2021 12:32

If we're sure protection is waning, then I'll have it and count myself very lucky that I've been offered it. I qualified through work to have mine early (which comes under health and social) so reasonably likely to be offered it.
