Hi
Wondered if anyone been to a gig where they have to show a negative lateral flow test to get in ? Do you just show the actual plastic test result at the door?!

A lot of trust there, as it could be anyone's!
Im double vacc but my friend won't be in time for it ! Thanks !

I went to a festival held at Sheffield Uni Students Union. They asked if you had proof of vaccination/ negative test but didn't insist.

I think they were practising for September. I had a text from an LFT that I had registered and we exchanged cynical remarks about how I could have lied it was negative.

Friends who arrived later said they weren't asked. I do think they will struggle to check everyone at big gigs.

I went to the theatre the other day, they started on their terms that a picture of the test, or the nhs email, or the nhs text confirming a reported negative result, would be accepted. As it turned out they didn't ask for anything on the door, just waved us through. So yes, huge amounts of trust.

I probably wasn't that clear - register the test and you get a text. Show that rather than the actual strip.

I'm going somewhere this weekend that requires proof of a negative LFT. It doesn't really prove anything because you can register however you like. If you say it's negative they confirm it with a text. It's not really foolproof.

Sorry for delay in responding. Thanks for replies! I'll just show the text once I've registered it then , Like you said a lot of trust involved!
