Will people stop testing?

Do you think that people with symptoms will increasingly choose not to get a pcr test? It kickstarts a whole chain of isolation, legal restrictions and after September, zero earnings / no furlough.

I can’t see that people will continue to put everyone else first this winter, as there is literally no benefit to most people to get that positive pcr result. I suspect most people will lie low for a couple of days with “a cold” and then get on with it.

I've only ever done one to go to hospital

My friend has a new bad cough. She refuses to test because they've already isolated twice and they can't afford her husband to take more time off.

My dh works are so busy they've said if any staff have symptoms but feel well enough they can gonin and work alone, the place is huge and no need to be near anyone. They've been told 'if they try to pull the covid card' they're job is gone. They're too busy for people to be off if they're feeling OK enough to work.

I’m really not surprised to hear work places are doing this. I’m not saying it’s right but it’s not surprising. It’s entirely the Governments fault.

They can’t make it difficult for people to support themselves/ families/ businesses and then be surprised that people aren’t following testing/ isolation rules.

I’m self employed and doubt I’ll receive any help if I have to isolate. If I can’t go into work I won’t get paid.

I imagine people are already avoiding tests yes.
