I've looked at entry requirements and it says antigen test...which I think is lateral flow. Are nhs ones accepted? Also...the five day quarantine...can you even go to supermarket when you first arrive?
Many thanks for any help

I'm in Italy, though not a tourist.

Antigen is LFT, molecolare is PCR.

I'll have a look at what I can see for the quarantine rules, but I'd imagine not, otherwise there'd be no point in it.

But from august the 6th at least for Italians you’ll need to show either vaccination Green Pass or a negative test to go to restaurant indoors, museum, galleries, events etc

(This - apparently- applies to anyone aged 12 and over)

No, you can’t go to the supermarket, or anywhere else except the place you’re quarantining.

This (in English) is from June but I think it still applies, and the site also has the latest about the green pass etc : www.google.com/amp/s/www.thelocal.it/20210623/italy-new-quarantine-rules-uk-travel/%3Famp
