Antibody testing in Scotland

I’d really like to know if I have any antibodies as a result of an infection - a test for this seems to be available via Bupa or Nuffield Health but they can’t offer it in Scotland (the Scot Gov site seems to suggest this is because they don’t want people assuming they have any immunity if they have a positive result.)

Looks like I could order one of the postal kits from Lloyds or Superdrug but this only gives you overall levels of antibodies which could either have resulted from vaccine or infection.

Anyone know if this is right and/or if there is any way to test for infection-specific antibodies in Scotland? Thanks

I have had 2 antibodies tests as part of the Scot Gov testing of people who work in education - 6 months apart. Jan and June. Both times I was just informed I had no antibodies, but I think that was more of a yes/no type result rather than what you're after. Sorry.

Thanks for reply. I don’t work in education or take part in any of the studies so not eligible for any of the free ones administered by the Govt.

I was down in England recently; if I’d known I would have booked one then but just looked it up now!
