Can you take medication after Pfizer

Just wanted to check as a family memeber had Pfizer jab today but in the morning was at the doctor for a twisted neck and prescribed Naproxen and Cocodamol for the pain. They are also on Sertraline. Anyway they had their 1st jab at 2pm and then had their medication at 3 as they were in pain. They said the doctor is aware and they are safe to take but having potential side effects of Naproxen alone is a concern, just wondering if this could cause more risk of a clot or inflamation of the heart following the jab. Theyare in so much pain, I can understand but I am now worrying about them masking anything that should be noted following the jab.

When I was prescribed naproxen I was also prescribed something to stop me feeling sick, as that's a common side effect.
Co-codamol also doesn't suit everyone. It makes me nauseous and I fainted last time I took it.

However if your doctor says these are ok with a Covid jab, then I'd assume s/he's correct.

Thank you for responding @MrsFin

I had never heard of Naproxen before but the information leaflet makes grim reading.

I know all drugs potentially have side effects but these list, strokes and cardiac arrests being among them, even in previously healthy people, which is a concern as I have read that myacardia can also be a complication of Pfizer, anyway they did speak to the doctor when they were prescribed them so I am going to try not to worry about it.
