At what point do visitors become part of a household?

We're due to have family staying for about six weeks (overseas normally). Have been trying to find out if at any point they'll officially become part of my household, allowing mixing with, eg, other relatives. But can't find anything.

There won't be details as they simply can't legislate die every conceivable scenario.

I'd come side them part of your household.

Good Lord, who cares. Mix away. It doesn’t seem to be stopping anyone at the G7 summit. They’re just one big happy family. 🤣

Well, there's that. But I don't want to break any actual laws!

After they've completed any quarantine presumably.

Following any isolation/testing required after travel, I don't see why they'd not be able to live as you do.

Nootkah · 14/06/2021 14:27

I think if theyre living in your house they're part of your household.

Cornettoninja · 14/06/2021 14:29

If they don’t have another address in the UK I’d say they’re part of your household for most purposes tbh.

MRex · 14/06/2021 14:30

After quarantine your home is just their address, so they count then.
