Yes, it most likely would do. Or nothing at all. This is why regular lateral flow tests are a good idea.

motogogo · 27/05/2021 15:06

I didn't get any symptoms before vaccination. I'm middle aged and overweight so should be higher risk

ICanSmellSummerComing · 27/05/2021 15:47

I was wondering actually it seems like a rather grey area? How does covid present if at all in somene vaccinated and if it presents as a cold how will that pass on if at all?

It can present as a mild cold even without the vaccine. It can not present at all and have no symptoms whatsoever and still be transmissible. Why do you ask?

Unsure33 · 27/05/2021 18:24

Yes it could be any of the symptoms just milder.

BiniorellaSun · 27/05/2021 19:34

Yes.
Sneezing has been highlighted by the ZOE study.
IME of Covid after 2 x AZ - sneezing, runny nose, mild sore throat first symptoms turning into a normal cold with a slight cough (throat clearing type).
Loss of smell a late symptom but only lasted a couple of days. No temperature above 37.8 although felt warm for a day or two.
Tired but not so tired I couldn’t get up and do house jobs.

BelleBlueBell · 27/05/2021 19:40

We surely all know by now that covid can present with a whole host of different syptoms or no symptoms at all

Afaik the vaccine doesn't change that. Have you been told something different?

hopingtochangeeachtime · 27/05/2021 22:43

I don't get why it matters now anyway?

RoseWineTime · 27/05/2021 23:50

I guess it matters because people who ar ex vaccinated may not know they have covid so could theoretically pass it on.

Yes this - and also, people might dismiss the risk of infection as nothing serious, fail to take precautions, and then end up with Long Covid.
BiniorellaSun · 28/05/2021 01:55

According to ZOE long Covid is much, much less likely if vaccinated.
