Iv just had a baby a week ago and my Mum has offered me to go there in the spring break, I am struggling as I keep worrying about covid. I have a newborn and im fairly vulnerable after birth too. I think its nice that id have the support but am I overthinking the covid thing? My parents go work etc and have both been vaccinated but still theres a risk. Or is it actually a risk? Its makes me really anxious. Please help.

It depends if you need help with the baby or not whether you should go, but if you are going to worry more about your parents getting covid and passing it on to you and baby, then maybe leave it until you are fully recovered from birth and would feel safer going then.

Personally I would go. I had my first baby last April and would have absolutely killed for the support. I had a really rough birth and abs still felt let I had been in a train smash when my husband went back to work (key worker out if house) after two weeks paternity. On my own with a new born. Take the help if you want it. The risk to you abs baby is minimal.

Congratulations by the way. It does get easier....promise x

If your parents are fully vaccinated, the chance of them giving you covid is minuscule.
What about the journey - if you would be going by private car, no problem, if you would be on public transport then there would be some possible exposure.
If you can drive there, I would go, OP. Otherwise I would wait until you are vaccinated yourself.
