If it's a blood clot or just normal/normalish symptoms?
I had (43 and overweight) AstraZeneca 4pm Friday, ok for few hours and then couldn't sleep Friday night or Saturday night.
I have aches and pains but often have aches and pains for example can have calf pain if I've stood still too long or can wake with leg pains some mornings.
When I'm run down I can sometimes get out of breath more than normal.
I sometimes get headaches, tend to be at the back of the head.
Therefore how do you know if it's just your normal symptoms or anything more serious?

Call 111 immediately if you get any of these symptoms starting from around 4 days to 4 weeks after being vaccinated:

a severe headache that is not relieved with painkillers or is getting worse
a headache that feels worse when you lie down or bend over
a headache that's unusual for you and occurs with blurred vision, feeling or being sick, problems speaking, weakness, drowsiness or seizures (fits)
a rash that looks like small bruises or bleeding under the skin
shortness of breath, chest pain, leg swelling or persistent abdominal (tummy) pain

For the four weeks after having AZ I would speak to someone if you have those symptoms, don't just assume it isn't a side effect.

It almost certainly won't be anything to worry about, but if you for example are prone to claf pain, it might make you ignore it, whereas I would react to it as a new thing.

So just be a bit cautious, it doesn't hurt anyone to check you over.

This is a screen shot of one of the more comprehensive lists I’ve seen of symptoms that should alert you to seek medical attention/advice. It’s from the Birmingham Mail (or whatever it’s called now).

Hmm that looks like the photo didn’t post to me. I’ll try again but presume most can see it?

Thanks roguetomatoe & Cornettoninja
I'm only just over 2 days so wont worry at the moment.
Thanks for the info, my headache isn't unusual for me.
My leg isn't swollen but the calf and arch on one of them hurts but can hurt when I've not walked for a bit; walked without sensible shoes, been jogging etc, etc.
I think my concern is that with having leg issues and sometimes getting out of breath how I will know in a few days if it's just my normal/normalish symptoms or anything worse.
Thanks again.

Completely understand why you’re a bit anxious, especially if your normal includes some of the signs they’re warning of. It’s nice to have a little more info to flesh it out a bit.

how I will know in a few days if it's just my normal/normalish symptoms or anything worse You won't necessarily know, how could you? - so you can ask a doctor if you have any concersn, no one will begrudge you the time. Take care and hopefully not too much worry for you over the next few weeks.

:( I came to this thread expecting a bit of Enchanted - BIG disappointment!

OP - your normal symptoms are quite distinct from those from a blood clot. I understand the concern but just look out for something DIFFERENT, i.e. unusual for you, that matches the list.
