Covid vaccine side effects and self isolating

DH has had his vaccine today. I'm fully aware he may breeze through it with no side effects. But several of my friends have had a high temperature as part of their side effects, for a few hours up to a day.

Should he wake up tomorrow with a high temperature and flu like side effects (listed on the paperwork as relatively common), he will obviously not go into work - and couldn't as they take temperatures of their employees each morning as they enter and would just be sent back home.

But does it mean that we all have to isolate 'just in case' if he has a temp in the morning? And would he need to get a test?

If you get a temperature within 48 hours of the vaccination, you don't need to get a test or isolate. I looked it up when I had my jab as I felt so terrible.

Depends which one he has had?

He probably won’t feel like going to work anyway, I really shouldn’t worry about it.

Information here.

Vaccinator here. Regardless of the Covid vaccine we administer, we tell all patients that they might expect certain side effects, such as headache, temperature etc...
we tell them that if the symptoms persist beyond 48 hours, follow government guidelines, self isolate and book a test.

Only after 48 hours post vaccine

He had the AZ this morning. He has since found the advice linked on here (thanks) and it's a no. If he's got a temp he stats home but I can go to work (school).
