Did your arm get very hot after the Pfizer jab?

It's not all that sore, although they had said it would be, but it's very hot in a small circle where the injection site is.

Not really. Trying to recall.

Felt a bit sore. Like you'd expect! But under-the-weather the next day, the on, fine. Less issues with the second one.

SO happy to be as immunised as is possible.

If, after 24 hours, the site is sore, hot, angry, raised; and you feel feverish- you may be an unlucky person who got an infection introduced either by the needle or via the injection wipe not killing any bacteria on your skin, I guess, that then got punctured into you.

In which case, seek medical help.

That doesn't appear to be one of the side effects here. However I did get that with my whooping cough jab. Have heard it happen with different jabs too.

Sounds uncomfortable poor you

Yes, I had a raised area of about the size of a 50p that was very hot to touch.

My colleague reported a hot arm. Immediately so they kept him more time.

No, nothing like that. My arm hurt when I moved it, but I couldn't feel anything at the actual site of the injection.

Keep an eye on it. As @Miljea said it could be a completely unrelated infection at the injection site. I had this one year after the flu jab, just pure bad luck, but became quite unwell and needed strong antibiotics. Very hot red arm but also felt generally felt very unwell with fever, headache, cold hands and feet, heavy legs (essentially the start of septicaemia), not symptoms I'd typically experienced following a fully vaccine in previous years. I was seen by OOH Dr and got a double dose of antibiotics. Might be nothing but don't leave it if you feel unwell.

The hot area had cooled by bedtime, so I think it was just localised irritation. Otherwise I seem fine, I even rolled over onto the injection arm in my sleep and continued sleeping, so not much pain.

My friend said her arm was hot and itchy for over a week. Nothing to worry about. It shows that it is working.
