Furlough pay

Hi just wondering if any one else has the same sort of problem. Basically what is happening is the first lockdown we all got put on furlough but now we are back to work which is great but because of the virus we are working less hours as we are open shorter days so we are all getting less wage than we did when we were on furlough. I know I am very lucky to still have a job. But it’s a little annoying as it’s 10hrs less a week I am working so it’s few hundred a month I am loosing same as my other colleagues.

They should put you on flexi furlough so you get paid normally for the hours you do work and 80% for the hours you would normally work but aren't.

Where I work some staff are working less hours at the moment but at least they still have jobs. There isn't anything that can be done unless or until things get back to normal. I'm not quite sure how you're relating that to furlough pay though

They can choose to put you on flexi furlough or not. There is no obligation.
You can choose or not to accept the new terms of employment.

@BelleBlueBell because if you are working less hours than you normally would the company can claim furlough pay for you for the hours you are not working but would normally. They work it out on how many hours you worked in the same period last year or the average of your hours for the last year whichever is higher.

OK, I didn't get that from the OP. I couldn't see the connection between the title and the actual post.

Like @MiddlesexGirl says my work isn't doing furlough for anyone now, not sure why but I think it's something to do with the costs they have to pay. I don't think they need to do new contracts it's that extra hours that were quite routine aren't needed now. Some folks were made redundant and others now work their contracted hours.
