Holiday in late June

I'm in Scotland but am hoping that all travel restrictions will be lifted by June so I've booked 4 nights in a caravan at the end of June in Yorkshire. We've been to the site twice and it's really quiet, only 11 vans there and also near the seaside.

I'm now stressing that the rates are going to be up a good bit by then and am almost putting myself off going. I've had both jags (work for NHS) and dh will have also had both hags by then too.

Am I being mad???

I know the Scottish government has been up to now more cautious than the English government but in terms of what is happening on the English side I am booked for a similar holiday on the 7th June with my own household and am pretty confident it will go ahead as it’s allowed from tomorrow, I think. If tourist attractions etc are open that’s a bonus but they should all be from May 17th.
Has Scottish government given a firm indication of when You can holiday in England?

@Frazzled2207 I know we can travel freely in Scotland on 26th April but I don't think definite guidelines have been published for after that date. Although something sticks in my head that June onwards we can travel throughout the UK.

I felt really positive about booking it then saw the news report on Chile and they're now having a 3rd wave and they were ahead of us in the vaccine programme.

Agree is worrying about Chile-but OTOH we can also compare with Israel who have a fully open economy now and cases are still going down

Chile used the Sinopharm vaccine, which is much less effective than the Pfizer vaccine used by Israel (or the AZ, moderna etc used by us).

It's highly, highly unlikely we will see the same outcome as Chile has sadly experienced.
