EU's Roadmap for mass vaccination (2019) - we're right on schedule!

ec.europa.eu/health/vaccination/key_documents_en

"Roadmap for the implementation of actions" is the title of the document in question - uploaded in May 2019.

It's highly enlightening to see that the timeline runs from 2018 to 2022 (the date when the new order is likely to have become completely entrenched). Actions include "developing a common vaccinationcard/passport for EU citizens ... that is compatible with electronic immunisation information systems [centralised "health" databases, basically]". 2019 - 2021 is designated the trial/ feasibility study phase, while the proposal of the EU-wide passport is set for 2022.

Another target is overcoming what is termed "vaccine hesitancy", with public attitude monitoring and behavioural science mooted as strategies...

Most sinisterly, the following is scheduled for 2021-22: "Develop guidance to overcome the legal and technical [and MORAL] barriers impeding the interoperability of national immunisation information systems..."

This lends strong support to my belief - shared by many others - that universal and essentially mandatory vaccination, as a pillar of an international biosecurity state, has been the end game all along. Everything that has been inflicted on us over the past year has been leading up to this, and has served to make a formerly unconscionable practice, i.e., widespread forced medical treatment, not only palatable, but even welcome to the average person.

All you have to do is say you love Big Brother take the jab, and we'll make the pain go away...

The whole thing has been quite genius, really. A triumph of behaviourism and social engineering.

Shock - organisation with mission to improve public health - comes up with plan to improve health!!!!

Here are the "sinister" objectives...

ec.europa.eu/health/sites/health/files/vaccination/docs/10actions_en.pdf

Lessons from the day and actions needed towards vaccination for all and elimination of vaccine preventable diseases:

  1. Promote global political leadership and commitment to vaccination and build effective collaboration and partnerships -across international, national, regional and local levels with health authorities, health professionals, civil society, communities, scientists, and industry- to protect everyone everywhere through sustained high vaccination coverage rates.
  1. Ensure all countries have national immunisation strategies in place and implemented and strengthen its financial sustainability, in line with progress towards Universal Health Coverage, leaving no one behind.
  1. Build strong surveillance systems for vaccine-preventable diseases, particularly those under global elimination and eradication targets.
  1. Tackle the root-causes of vaccine hesitancy, increasing confidence in vaccination, as well as designing and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  1. Harness the power of digital technologies, so as to strengthen the monitoring of the performance of vaccination programmes.
  1. Sustain research efforts to continuously generate data on the effectiveness and safety of vaccines and impact of vaccination programmes.
  1. Continue efforts and investment, including novel models of funding and incentives, in research, development and innovation for new or improved vaccine and delivery devices.
  1. Mitigate the risks of vaccine shortages through improved vaccine availability monitoring, forecasting, purchasing, delivery and stockpiling systems and collaboration with producers and all participants in the distribution chain to make best use of, or increase existing, manufacturing capacity.
  1. Empower healthcare professionals at all levels as well as the media, to provide effective, transparent and objective information to the public and fight false and misleading information, including by engaging with social media platforms and technological companies.
  1. Align and integrate vaccination in the global health and development agendas, through a renewed Immunisation agenda 2030.

It's irrelevant to us though. We're not in the EU.

Indeed - an EU has not exactly done well with point #8...

8. Mitigate the risks of vaccine shortages through improved vaccine availability monitoring, forecasting, purchasing, delivery and stockpiling systems and collaboration with producers and all participants in the distribution chain to make best use of, or increase existing, manufacturing capacity.

Oh, love. Have you not got out much in the last year? Too much internet I reckon.

poppycat10 · 02/04/2021 15:26

Not sure the EU has done very well with its roll-out so far but agree that the vaccine passport idea is a complete nonsense, we don't do it for anything else (yes yellow fever but I can live my life quite comfortably and see lots of nice places without having to visit a country that requires it - the way things are going, that won't be the case with covid, I won't even be able to go to a local cafe without flashing an app).

McSilkson · 02/04/2021 15:26

Whether you deem the development of a hitherto unprecedented surveillance infrastructure linked to a coerced medical treatment that is far from necessary for the majority, as a condition of being able to participate in society, and possibly even to feed oneself, as "sinister" is, I suppose, a matter of perspective.

Have this jab (and another and another and another) or starve.

Is that supposed to be a joke (if aimed at me)? Well, I've been to a lot of parks, that's for sure...

"hitherto unprecedented surveillance infrastructure linked to a coerced medical treatment"???

Where??? Not in the UK - test-and-trace has been hopeless. Barely able to trace a fraction of cases - and most people with symptoms haven't even been isolating.

bobbiester · 02/04/2021 15:39

There are strong hints in @McSilkson's posts that she thinks COVID-19 itself might be part of the "plan". Although I doubt she'll admit that.

Tealightsandd · 02/04/2021 15:41

@bobbiester Definitely! If the surveillance relies on our world beating track and trace, we're fallen at the first hurdle! Grin

Teamox · 02/04/2021 15:43
Grin
bobbiester · 02/04/2021 15:57

Don't think Iiving in a surveillance state would be all that bad if it's run by Dido Harding!!

PurpleWh1teGreen · 02/04/2021 16:00

If people are hesitant to have a vaccine against a disease that could kill them or cause long term disability it seems reasonable to try to overcome their reluctance.

HSHorror · 02/04/2021 16:11

Op there is no conspiracy re any vaxs.
1 Overall they save many more lives than they harm
2 you realise you and everyone you love will get older and more vulnerable
3 any empathy for those who cant take the vax or for whom it doesnt work?
4 waves of covid every year and there will be a lot more vulnerable formerly health people.

TheVampiresWife · 02/04/2021 16:16

lol

Hello everyone
We’re getting a number of reports about anti-vax sentiment and misinformation. Mumsnet, being an open site, does mean that this kind of thing tends to be robustly challenged on the boards, and many users are here looking for reassurance after all.
We're always on alert to anyone here with a specific agenda to share a particular (often extreme) point of view. We'll usually ban such posters as their contributions to threads are rarely helpful. We also delete links to sites that are clearly peddling bad science/fake news.
We think, especially with the emergence of new vaccines, it’s understandable people will want to discuss what’s involved - but we’d always urge anyone with questions to speak to a medical professional too. You can also find further information about vaccines on the NHS website. www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/why-vaccination-is-safe-and-important/
