Line eyes - second opinion please?

Is one of these a positive result or have I developed covid line eyes?

All are lateral flow tests from different members of the same household.

The second from the bottom looks like it has a faint positive line.

I'm psyching myself up to do mine at the moment.

Saisong · 28/03/2021 17:13

Third one down looks like a line to me. Sorry!

Boofips · 28/03/2021 17:15

Thank you, glad I've not gone mad. It's mine that's the positive, I did another one which looks exactly the same. Have reported result and book pcr for tomorrow. Upset boss by informing him I'm not at work tonight. DH thinks I'm imagining it Hmm

Definitely a line on third one down

SquashedFlyBiscuits · 28/03/2021 17:17

2nd from bottom is a positive. Did you time the 30mins? Leaving it too long can result in a false positive, but regardless you'd better start booking PCRs for the whole family just to be certain. How rubbish for you.

itsgettingwierd · 28/03/2021 17:19

Agree that's positive.

I'm also pleased to see I'm not the only one who writes the initial of who's test it is with a sharpie!

Hope you are ok and get through without feeling too unwell

ihearttc · 28/03/2021 17:20

Mine looked like that as well and my PCR was positive.

OliveTree75 · 28/03/2021 17:21

I agree that is positive. Mine looked like that and went on to test positive on PCR.

The second line was there within the first 10 minutes and still there at 30 minutes on both my tests.

I have a very mild cough but its not constant and a tight chest but otherwise feeling fine.
I had my first vaccine on the 3rd of March so hopefully won't develop anything more severe.

Ihearttc and olivetree75 thank you that's good to know.
I hope you are both okay and feeling better now?
My pcr is tomorrow morning

ihearttc · 28/03/2021 17:36

Yes I’m fine now thank you. I had it quite mildly, my only real symptom was that I was quite tired.

OliveTree75 · 28/03/2021 18:04

I am fine too. Loss of smell only and bit of blocked nose. Hope you're okay

GingerLemonTea · 28/03/2021 18:43

Looked like mine before I tested positive on PCR. I had already had my first dose of vaccine & symptoms were minimal, mainly tiredness. Always tired tho. Plus a headache one day.

GingerLemonTea · 28/03/2021 18:44

Also one month on, I feel fine.

Boofips · 28/03/2021 18:49

Sounds like I'll be getting a positive pcr then!

I'm tired but work nights and have 2 kids so tiredness is not unusual.
Been a bit headachy today, tightness in chest and a ridiculously mild cough that's definitely not constant.

Only tested as my eldest is at secondary school so we were given tests for all of us to complete twice weekly.

I'm glad to hear you are all feeling better.

My positive LFT looked almost identical. Did a PCR the following day that came back positive.

StormzyinaTCup · 28/03/2021 19:26

Just done one an hour ago for my DD who is at college but has been feeling under the weather this weekend and it’s registered negative. It was completely clear below the ‘c’ line, not a hint of anything so if you can see even the very slightest of lines it will be a positive result. Hopefully it’s a mild case for you OP.
