Sore mouth after vaccine

Anyone experienced a sore mouth and ulcers after Astra Zeneca vaccine? I'm nearly weeks weeks since jab but last 3 days had a really sore lip and tongue.

Thanks.

It probably has nothing to do with the vaccine.

I had mouth ulcers after the vaccine, I was told it was a side effect that is increasingly being recognised as part of Covid Tongue. It had exactly the same around the time I am suspected to have had Covid, before widespread testing early last year. Both times they reduced fairly swiftly.

I had the vaccine last Wednesday and yesterday my gums and tongue felt really sore. I have trigeminal neuralgia so at first I thought it might be that, but my TN affects my left side and my whole mouth was hurting. Was fine again this morning but yesterday I couldn't eat. I was really rough for three days post vaccine so hopefully that's the last side effect done with!

Dentist here and vaccinator. Who knows? There have not been any definitive findings that there is a link between the vaccine and sore mouths. Most likely anecdotal. The "Covid tongue" just looks a bit like another common condition I've seen in patients mouths. I can't conceive a reason why there could possibly be a link. However time will tell I suppose.

Thanks for responding

I should say it's nearly 3 weeks since jab.

Very odd tongue feels very sore down sides and I have a ulcer I'm on lip too tho that seems to be getting better.
