One of one vaccine then two of another?

A family member is moving abroad for work. He is waiting for visa approval, because visa offices have not been open, but when that comes through then his company will expect him to fly over and do quarantine and they have said then he can't come back to the U.K. this year, unless the situation changes.

It's likely he'll get called for the Oxford vaccine here in the next few weeks. Abroad, where he will be based, they don't have Oxford and it would be the Chinese vaccine only, which he'd be offered "at some stage": they are not as quick as the U.K. He could drop quite low down the list.

Has anyone read anything about taking one vaccine, then two more of a different kind?

Of course, the visa process could be utterly delayed and so he definitely should I feel take it here, as he may well end up still here when the second dose is due...

A booster vaccination enhances the quality of the immune response and sends a reminder about the virus. It doesn’t matter if the vaccine used to prime the immune system is different from the one used to boost, as long as they both contain the critical viral protein
