Antibody testing questions please

I would like to have an antibody test to see if I have developed antibodies after the vaccine but I am a bit confused and would be grateful for advice please.
Would it be better to have the blood test or would the finger prick blood test be enough?
Does anyone know if you can pay privately to test how strong your antibodies are rather than just if you have them or not?
Can anyone recommend any testing companies.
Thanks very much in advance for anyone's help and advice.

Blue horizon were mentioned a lot a while back £100 for a pin prick one

There's no point in having a test after the vaccine as it won't necessarily recognise those antibodies. I'll see if I can find where I read that.

Thanks Cookerhood and KevinBaconsMoustache

I just typed a long reply that vanished.
It seems that most antibody tests are against the nucleocapsid not the spike protein so you would test negative as the vaccine induces antibodies to the spike protein. Also being negative (if it was the right sort of test) doesn't mean you aren't immune - your antibodies could have waned, but you would still be immune, or it could be too soon & you might not have them yet.
Save your money.

I used BioCard, their test is very specific. It's a home finger-prick test kit, and you send it off to their lab.

BioCard is very specific to the spike protein, and as such is extremely accurate.

Interesting, thank you. £100 is an awful lot for something that will almost certainly be positive if you time it right. Negative won't really tell you anything - a series of them might.

Thank you CrunchyCarrot and Cookerhood - that is so helpful and exactly what I was looking for.
