Nope. I've had one vaccine anyway, and we can't afford for dp not to work so unless anyone gets symptoms, we won't be testing. I can imagine a lot of people in our situation feel the same.

I will gladly do it if it helps. As I see it, it won't protect us directly, but it may help to identify asymptomatic cases, and it would therefore minimise the risk of us spreading the virus to others, e.g. dd's teachers and their families, other kids and their family members.

My only doubt is that I've heard lateral flow tests are not thought to be particularly accurate. I don't know if anyone can shed any light on this?

Were in the fortunate situation that we can both work from home so as long as we're well, even if positive, it shouldn't harm us financially. But I totally get where you're coming from and I have family members who feel the same.

I've heard they're only something like 48% accurate, which is why you have to have the standard test afterwards. 🤷🏼‍♀️
