So when I go back to work ( will be as soon as schools open as management itching to get everyone in to crowded offices) there will be few who are vaccinated and then there will be me 40 and not had it. Will I be at increased risk?

Well yes, if you are in a crowded office you will obviously be at more risk of catching Coronavirus than if you are working at home and not having contact with other people outside your household.

Your employer should not however, be having a crowded office. There are Covid safe rules to follow which include distancing, hand sanitising etc. If they are not providing a working environment that tries to limit the risk of the virus spreading then they should be reported.

I feel (fear) that the ones ( obviously not all) who are vaccinated will have a different outlook to to the infection control guidelines- there were people in my workplace who wanted to do a shared lunch type thing for people to drop in in height of the pandemic Hmm

Yes, you will be at increased risk.

Your employer should prevent this though.

You will be at more risk of catching Covid when mixing with more people. However, if most of them are vaccinated (and some time has passed) then the risk that they will carry it and pass it to you is reduced.

If you are concerned about the precautions, or that your colleagues are not following them, speak to your manager.

Fingers crossed then- my work place has this insatiable need to have meetings to discuss meetings, more people in the meeting room than available seating, food (fruit, biscuits, chocolates) spread on the table which is thrust in your face Sad yuck- when will people understand it is a place of work not a social club to eat drink and ‘pretend’ to be lovey dovey?

Your employer shouldn't be crowding you into offices. Do you need to go in? My employer has said they don't expect us back regularly until the autumn, at least... I doubt they'll make anyone go in until the pandemic is over in this country.
