Just that really, considering keeping my reception aged DS at home after 8 March for a number of reasons. Wondered if anyone else was doing likewise?

That will be a no.

justanotherneighinparadise · 13/02/2021 17:14

Nope, I’ll be first in the queue.

ComDummings · 13/02/2021 17:15

No chance.

Shelovesamystery · 13/02/2021 17:15

No chance!

Luckyrabbitfoot · 13/02/2021 17:16

Whilst I would like to from a worry perspective, I just couldn’t. My 6 year old is an only child and she’s missed so much. I need to put her first.

Beyondfedupnow · 13/02/2021 17:17

Yes, but he’s CEV. When local rates are very low he can go back. Can’t wait! He’s been home a year.

StormcloakNord · 13/02/2021 17:17

Nope. Even if I was unnecessarily worried about it I'd put my DD first and put her in.

StrangeAddiction · 13/02/2021 17:18

Not sure yet.

I'm hoping that it'll be the younger years who go first and that my dc's years won't be until after Easter.

For me it depends on the local case numbers as apparently my area is still high.

KittensTeaAndCake · 13/02/2021 17:18

Ooooh.......no!

lanbro · 13/02/2021 17:18

Absolutely not, my dc are stuck in our place of work 6 days a week, they will definitely going back as soon as it's allowed!

IggyAce · 13/02/2021 17:19

No

ThatsnotmyBorishishairistoneat · 13/02/2021 17:20

Nope. What are your reasons?

SpinningWheelOfFortune · 13/02/2021 17:20

Nope, DD has attended through this whole lockdown anyway as I work in a school myself. Even if she hadn't, I wouldn't want her to miss out on school time if all her peers were returning.

mynameisnotmichaelcaine · 13/02/2021 17:20

Nope! My youngest is in school now but my older two will be first in the queue to go back!

Pippa234 · 13/02/2021 17:20

No.

fresiaboquet · 13/02/2021 17:21

not a cahnce! one of mine has been going in on keyworker place throughout (older 2 remote learning from home) They need to be back ASAP

Figgygal · 13/02/2021 17:21

No
He’d be there now if they’d take him - he needs out of this house and with his peers. We’ve done every bit of school work set and more yet still his education will have suffered

Chollok · 13/02/2021 17:21

Even if I was unnecessarily worried about it I'd put my DD first and put her in.

For me it isn't necessarily putting my DS first sending him back, as he doesn't enjoy school at all. His behaviour has improved tenfold since he's been at home. That's one of the reasons I'm considering it; I wouldn't if he enjoyed it and was miserable at home.

Also his learning has come on in leaps and bounds since he's been home too, he's a very confident reader now which he definitely wasn't at Christmas.

MsFogi · 13/02/2021 17:22

No - I'd send them tomorrow if schools opened

Angel2702 · 13/02/2021 17:23

No if I keep them home when school opens when would it be ever safe for them to go back? September when all adults have been vaccinated but still circulating around schools via the children? Unless I was going to permanently home school I don’t see the point.

FourTeaFallOut · 13/02/2021 17:25

No. No way. Fuck, no.

TokyoSushi · 13/02/2021 17:25
