Does anyone know, in places where hospitality is open

I'm guessing it is still leave contact details and quarantine for 2 weeks if deemed a close contact? Does anyone know? Thanks.

I'm in Italy and since last year you've had to leave your details in restaurants. When things were open totally past summer, it did get a bit lax, some would only ask a sample of guests, others would ask everyone. Phone numbers, addresses and passport details taken in more reliable ones.
Most of Italy back in yellow zone now, after Christmas restrictions, and hospitality can stay open just until early evening. I presume the same leaving of details is required as before.

which country? I reckon most outside Europe/Asia don't have you leave details.

I'm interested to know re America and Australia too. I know Vegas is kind of open...I can't see how that would work if people were constantly quarantining.

Step do you know how long the quarantine is for Italy?

Thank you.

It's (afaik) 14 days without a test, or 10 if you have a negative test on the tenth day.

I live in Houston and most restaurants are open and are offering takeaway service.

Dine-in is also available. You can just turn up or request a reservation to avoid disappointment.
They are restricted to 75% capacity.

The 75% capacity rule is also for bars and wedding venues.

Thanks Do they take contact info, do you have the whole quarantine thing to worry about?

I suspect some of the Asian countries where you don’t have to leave your details have mandatory apps/tracking so it isn’t necessary.

If you have to have an app or wearable device which is used by the authorities for contact tracing then there isn’t much point in leaving details.

I’m in UAE (Dubai) and we can have a max of 4 at each table or 7 if it’s a family. Tables are 3m apart or separated by Perspex and there’s a three-hour limit at tables. We don’t need to leave contact details. We all wear masks all the time except when seated at the table.

@LunaHeather

No, no leaving your details.
You just turn up.

I'm in America, restaurants are open as normal in my State and have been since last June. No contact details required, so no track and trace, the only concession to the pandemic is mask wearing by the staff.

Our Covid numbers are dropping quickly so I can't see any restrictions being put in place now.

Indeed.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated.
