I know that Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have slightly different rules and restrictions, but not sure what they are ? What about other countries outside the UK, what are the restrictions and rules where you live, if any ?

Switzerland adding to what @LongPauseNoAnswer said
Only compulsory schools open (up to 16y.o.) otherwise online. All adults (including teachers in classrooms) and pupils over 12 wear masks on school grounds at all times. Some areas have introduced mask wearing in older primary school children as well.
Meeting indoor and outdoors of max 5 people (inc. family).
Sport activities for under 16s is an exception.
H is allowed to see his DM in O.P. home at the moment but has to make an appointment, temperature taken on arrival, masks, gloves, disinfecting and strictly controlled distancing.

And strict WFH policy where possible.

I'm in Italy in an orange zone.
Our high schools reopened today but with parents choosing to send kids in or not, so we're blended learning really. I'm also a high school teacher and will be doing some classes in school and some from home depending on the kids' decisions.
Curfew 10pm but everyone is out and about until then. Most private offices here are open as usual (accountants etc) but many public ones aren't. Restaurants and bars are all open but only for takeaway or home delivery. Masks mandatory everywhere including outside if you're near other people.
We can visit people in their houses with no restrictions as such, but can only go to people's houses in other towns in pairs. We are a family of 3 so can't go all together to MIL's in the next town.

France - to add to @LillianGish

Have to mention this for France, as it’s bizarre (to me). No restrictions on mixing in family homes. Families can still meet up for meals, parties, no number limits. Ditto for childcare, play dates etc as long as you don’t break the curfew. The govt recommend no more than 6 adults per gathering or 10 including children.

It’s the single biggest difference btw us and the U.K. My colleagues are off having family lunches with 2-3 households or more, mixing every weekend, no masks, eating together at table etc. Whereas my sister in the U.K. hadn’t visited our parents since Christmas - and even then they just had sandwiches in the garage rather than a meal!

The govt is powerless as interfering in private family life is against the constitution.
