Just that really.
Sorry if I'm missing an obvious google search, I just can't seem to find it!
Just trying to figure out when my mum might get her first shot :)

Don’t bother using the online calculator, I have done it 3 times and each time it comes up different dates each time, which I understand due to different numbers of vaccines each day. They are very hopeful that the first 4 categories will be done by 15 February, then they will start on people aged 65 - 69, then everyone aged over 18 with medical conditions, then people aged 60 - 64, then 55 - 59 and lastly 50 - 54. That’s the 9 categories. I am 59 and think I will get mine end March to April, maybe earlier if they continue at pace.

Thanks for the reply!
Oh really, I'll stay away then!
My mum is 63 but has atrial fibrillation so I'm not sure where that lands her. She's desperately worried about catching it. I just want her to get her shot so hopefully he anxiety can calm down a bit :(

Group 6 by the sound of it. I'm group 6 and if I believed the calculator I'd go and hack my head off.

Just want the over 50s to all be vaccinated ASAP personally. I’m 27 so don’t expect to get the vaccine for a looooong time and amnot too bothered for myself (but will take it when/if offered) but I desperately want to be able to see all my close family and extended family again without having to worry, but this means waiting until the slightly more at risk ones have all had their jabs. It’s a difficult wait I just wish I knew a date to look forward to Sad

I'm group 6( underlying health condition) today calculator says between 5th March-9th April, which is closer than when I've checked previously I won't hold my breath though!

Iremembertheelderlykoreanlady · 31/01/2021 22:15

I'm group 6 and hopeful for March. I'm basing that purely on the roll out rate so far and blind optimism! 😅

I am finding the wait hard. I worry when I hear the top 4 groups being described as the priority groups, when there are several priority levels below 4. I worry when I hear vaccines being described as 'surplus' and to be sent to other countries (including other developed EU countries like Ireland). My vaccine - the one that I would get in the future as a 48 person with dependent children - is not 'surplus'. I have had to put up with Brexit, the sole benefit of which seems to be that I will get a vaccine sooner than if we had remained in the EU. What would be the point if my vaccine was given back to the EU as 'surplus'?

I'm 63 (group 7?) and had a text last week from my surgery to say my jab would be 'within the next two months'. That would take us to late March, but taking the full two months as 'worst case' I'm thinking I might get it by the end of Feb.
