Can everyone in wealthy countries who receives vaccination donate a small amount?

It occurred to me - as I’m sure it will to others - that if each person worldwide who receives a Covid vaccination and is able to do so donates a small sum - even a pound or two- that money could be added to the international fund to provide vaccines to poorer countries. I think that individuals can donate and found this link via WHO

It would be great if donation slips with relevant information could be handed out at vaccination stations. Has anyone heard anything about this? I can’t believe that no one has suggested it already.

Our government is doing this. Unfortunately not matched by most other developed countries.

I agree that publicising this at vaccination centres probably isn't a great idea, but I'm happy to donate and really glad I saw this thread. I didn't know about the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine fund until it was mentioned above.

Nah fuck that, covid has financially ruined my family, and anyway I'm a tax payer in the UK, my goverment has donated shit loads of money already
