What happens if you can’t have the Pfizer jab?

If you turn up on the day and they don’t have the Oxford vaccine - do you go to the back of the queue?

If it makes any difference the patient is going to a major vaccine hub.

Thanks in advance!

I have been booking peoples appointments for jabs as I work there so hopefully can reassure. The piszer jab warning of allergies is for people who have ever had to use an epi pen or suffered anaphylactic shock. The guidance on the pszier has actually been updated very recently.
Astra is now being more commonly used as we can store it and transport it so much easier.

MIL has had an anaphylactic reaction to stings. She was telephoned before Christmas and the caller went through some questions with her and said she would not be able to have the Pfizer jab due to allergies but they would be in touch as soon as the Oxford jab was available. Should have had it two weeks ago but she couldn't manage the steps/path out of the house due to the ice. They rearranged it quickly for last Saturday.
