If you could choose which vaccine would you go for?

Would you go for Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, Oxford or Moderna? Not sure if there are more but these are the ones everyone talks about..
Is there a reason behind your choice?

@AradiaGC collectively you don't. Collectively we don't. Never have.

If you can't see the potential effects of scaremongering here then fine. But I can. This situation is not like any we've previously experienced.

Floppywin · 28/01/2021 13:34

@davidsSchitt - you have no self-awareness at all and accuse others of misreading posts ... if only we all had your insight... what you can see etc you've admitted you know nothing but assume others know nothing - that's quite a misjudgment.

Suddenly everyone feels the need to "research" and "question" when they never have before.

I’m a bit confused by this as I would always research any medication I’m being given and thought most people did the same.

AZ last week. Slight dull headache but nothing more and there's also a chance that the headache was nothing to do with the vaccine as I'm experiencing a similar headache nowGrin.
Given a choice I'd have gone with pfizer due to the stats.

@davidsSchitt Collectively I don't? I'm sorry, I honestly don't understand what you mean by that.

Obviously some people, like you, don't and never have. That's fine, up to you. Others, like me, do. Taking your own behaviours (or those of your social circle) and attributing them to a universalised 'we' isn't a solid argument.

Personally I'm much more reassured by people openly saying that there are side-effects, you might feel awful for a day or two but it's worth it, than people trying to suppress discussion of them in case it makes someone decide not to take a vaccine. Informed consent is really important- in any medical treatment, not just vaccines. It's discussed far more with regard to these vaccines as they're relevant to everyone and they're new so there are still some unknowns.

@Floppywin

So you've changed your views since this morning? Confused

Or just on a mission to be rude?

Because despite completely failing to properly read my posts I still am arguing your point which was the same as mine.

This one....

"Yes had the vaccine this week and would take whichever one our country had approved"

I really don't know what you think I'm saying but I'm saying that. The same as you.

Either way, this is just tiresome now. The language previously sane people are adopting is cringeworthy at best.

davidsSchitt · 28/01/2021 13:46

Jesus wept. I'm bored and not carrying on now but by "collectively" I mean the whole fucking world at once.

😂

peak2021 · 28/01/2021 16:33

I'd take any, but if it was all of them in a line and I could pick, the Oxford one, as more chance it could be given to me at a local venue.

Just a small addition to the anecdotes, my aunt had Pfizer before Christmas and apparently felt rubbish and wiped out the next day. 🤷🏻‍♀️
