Underlying health problems and child at nursery

I’ve recently had a diagnosis that means I have underlying health problems and will be getting the covid vaccine in priority group 6. My question is, are parents in the same situation still sending their young children to nursery? I don’t have to shield but can’t work out whether letting my 1yo mix with others at nursery is too high risk for me. Both me and DH are homeschooling my eldest (5yo) whilst both trying to work from home as well. I know there’s no right answer, just wondering what others are doing.

I am shielding and wfh full time. I am sending my 4 yr old to nursery.

I was reluctant, but it just wouldn't be possible to do my job with her at home, I tried for about 3 weeks in March/April, and we both were miserable.

I spoke to my health care team at the hospital and they advised that the younger the child, the less likely they are to catch it and pass it on. They felt it was fine for her to go.

There was a positive case at the nursery before Xmas, DD was a close contact, along with several other kids. None of them caught it. Whilst it terrified me at the time (it was her first week back since spring!) the fact that none of the other kids caught it really reassured me that the risk is low.
