Is a headache a sign of coronavirus/covid?

My partner came down with a headache last night. Woke up this morning and no headache. No other symptoms.

Did anyone else's positive covid start like this

What I’d say about my DH is that he never really suffers from headaches so this was something different for him. The symptoms are so different from lots of the ones first associated with Covid. I was just really exhausted for first couple of days and then felt awful for a few days. I’m recovered now but still get really tired. DH still getting headaches.

Thank you for the replies. I suppose I will know more over the course of the day, how he is now, how his night was last night, - that would surely tell me a lot and maybe I ease up and stop being anxious. Hopefully all will go well and this turns out not to be covid.

We are nearly a year into this pandemic and we have public health messages hammered into us. I'm disappointed he didn't tell me he had a headache. I would have made the decision to not meet him. I also think he should have reduced his contacts after suffering from a head just for about 24 or 48 hours just to see if any other symptoms were to develop or occur.

I think this pandemic might spell the end of us. The pandemic shows we are polar opposites of each other on so many things.

I think it's more serious

• he doesn't understand the need for the household ban, I see its to reduce the spread of the virus.

There's so much more as well. We are polar opposites about everything on this virus and restrictions.
