Healthcare staff - have you had your second dose?

Just wondering if those working in healthcare, have had their second dose? I know lots of people have had their second dose cancelled in order to get as many vaccinated as possible, but I hope this doesn't apply to staff who have regular contact with covid patients.

[quote KickingBishopBrennanUpTheArrse]Nope - 1st dose today, appointment given for second dose in exactly 12 weeks before I left. I am worried to be honest. Israel are reporting only 33% immunity after one dose.

From what I've read Israel included anyone who caught Covid after vaccination but it is known that there is no protection for the first 2-3 weeks which was included and has skewed the figures. After that point I believe the vaccine reduces the chance of catching it and dramatically reduces the chances of being really ill

DSIS hasn’t had her first yet. Came home last week after what she says was the most difficult day of the pandemic for her so far working closely with people who were poorly with covid and declared ‘if I haven’t caught covid after today, it’ll be a miracle’. Tested positive today.
