I had mine yesterday. I'm so relieved.

TimeToCloseTheDoor · 18/01/2021 21:40

I’m in line, missed it yesterday due to a removal so I’m waiting for tomorrow whilst everyone else had theres. They are all fine today, sore arm/injection point but all at work carrying on.

MrGruWeLoveYou · 18/01/2021 21:42

Also vaccinated today, also excited and also relieved

CrazyFoxLady · 18/01/2021 22:01

Every person vaccinated is a step closer to freedom

Omletteforbreakfast · 18/01/2021 22:12

So delighted to hear NHS colleagues getting the vaccine - 4m plus now vaccinated ! Am NHS staff but back room so in the queue with the rest of the public but so pleased for everyone who gets the opportunity.

polkadotpixie · 18/01/2021 22:26

I've got mine tomorrow. Really excited. Every single person is one step closer to a normal life

Penguinkeeper · 18/01/2021 22:27

Had mine today too (also NHS)

Feel fine, just slightly tired 😀

tarapinn · 18/01/2021 22:44

Thanks foxlady Smile

DuchessMinnie · 18/01/2021 23:31

I had mine last week and was so happy. I have also personally booked appointments for 110 colleagues, desperate to get as many people through as possible. It's my way of helping.

Gingernaut · 18/01/2021 23:32

@CrazyFoxLady Awwwww.

Iamtooknackeredtorun · 18/01/2021 23:37

GettingGrumpier it's not too late. You could just apologise now for such a graceless response to an NHS worker expressing relief at having had a vaccine which might save hers or another's life. After ten months of worry it's hardly boasting. Don't be that person.

wlv12 · 19/01/2021 01:14

NHS worker here, having my vaccination in 10 hours.

I will be emotional - mum died of covid on Christmas Day so I’m more than happy to be getting the vaccine and protect myself and others.

CrazyFoxLady · 19/01/2021 09:58

@wlv12 so sorry for your loss Thanks

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 19/01/2021 10:07

@wlv12. I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum and on Christmas Day too Not long now & you'll have had your vac. 👍🏻

@Gettinggrumpier. Aren't you just. What a horrid thing to say. I can only assume you're going through something particularly horrible to lash out like that.

@CrazyFoxLady 😁😁😁😁😁😁

I am thrilled to hear about anyone getting their vac, but especially anyone NHS

I can't wait to have mine (should be G6 in March) 🤞🏼

Parkandride · 19/01/2021 10:13

So pleased for you OP, rest that arm! Flowers

Scottishgirl85 · 19/01/2021 10:14

My husband has had both Pfizer doses. Works in hospital but not patient facing. So many people not turning up for appointments so spares left at end of day. Please encourage everyone around you to get it when it's their turn!

NancyDrew1966 · 19/01/2021 10:15

NHS worker too (crit care worker ) I'm recovering from covid so can't have it until completely well Sad Can't wait till I do. Most of my colleagues have had it thankfully.

VettiyaIruken · 19/01/2021 10:15

Boasting. 🙄

Every person vaccinated is good news for all of us, op.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 19/01/2021 10:20

I had mine last night. I'm not frontline but got an email in the evening saying the local hospital had additional doses so any health or social care staff who could get there by 9pm could get one on a "First come first served" basis. I got mine just after 10pm, and am extremely thankful.

The more people vaccinated, the nearer we are to normality

Timeontimeoff · 19/01/2021 10:21

Great.

It is the only way out and hopefully the loonie anti vax brigade who appear to be out spreading fear and rubbish won't put off people.

rainbowunicorn · 19/01/2021 11:39

@Gettinggrumpier you just sound like an awful person. What a horrible thing to say to someone.
