If you’ve had COVID what gifts did you appreciate?

If there’s a thread on this I cannot find it... So I have a single friend with COVID. I’d like to send something but have no idea what. So if you had it (especially if you lost smell and taste) what did you really appreciate?

Does anyone have suggestions for someone who is recovering from a really serious bout? I have a friend who is now out of ICU but still in hospital. She's not local so anything I send would have to be be via the post.

I thought about sending her a good book but I think she's probably too exhausted to read at the moment

If she’s in hospital, some new pjs might go down a treat. Or a little box with hospital essentials - ear plugs, eye mask, sweets, nice hand cream and lip balm, insulated cup so she can drink a cup of tea slowly, nice biscuits, wet wipes, cosy socks and a long phone charging lead are things I appreciated during a hospital stay.
