I tested positive for covid in July of last year and was fortunate enough to have it very mildly, I didn't have any of the main symptoms, just common cold ones. I actually suspect I was asymptomatic with the covid and had a cold at the same time. I was tested through work.
Yesterday I began feeling very nauseous which continued this morning. As the day has gone on I've felt worse, have an upset stomach and feel quite physically ill in a way that is different to the usual bugs you get at this time of the year. By 7pm I felt so unwell I had to ask DH to stay home from work as I didn't feel able to be at home alone with the kids.
No cough or loss of taste/smell but I do have body aches, a burning feeling in my stomach, extreme fatigue and sore eyes.
With all the coverage of the new strain in the news I'm a bit worried it could be that.
Am I being daft or is it possible? I have a vulnerable person in my family so the bulk of my concern is with them.
