Stricter rules? What's the point.....

I've seen a few threads saying that we need stricter rules. Surely those disobeying the existing ones will just ignore the new ones so whats the point of making them stricter? They'd be punishing the people abiding by the rules which seems mightily unfair

Much as it pains me to say it as a toddler owner maybe the play parks need to shut as I've seen plenty of mums and dads not socially distancing. But other than that I cant see any rules which if they change will make any difference. I REALLY dont want them to close, we go at sunrise so we get the place to ourselves

Today I have seen a group of 8 elderly ladies stood close together having a chat in the park though which upset me no end when its illegal for me to see my friends despite being at very low risk from covid

There's a fair bit different this time compared with lockdown 1. Playgrounds are one difference, but its also way too easy for businesses to decide they're 'critical' and stay open regardless of whether their staff are safe. There's a lot more grey areas in the rules that are open to interpretation. If this is what they mean by stricter (clarifying and enforcing the existing rules) then fair enough.

@Gliblet I've not really been anywhere so I didnt realise that! I thought it was the same as march with just DIY, take away and supermarkets open really. In that case thats understandable!
