I have a needle phobia and I am so worried. I'm anxious about reacting to it or becoming ill. I know I need this vaccine but please can someone talk me through it you wouldn't think I was 39 years old, I feel like a little kid.

@WhyDoesItAlwaysRainMe

I've had it done! GrinGrin

The worse bit was sat waiting, but I had my headphones in to distract me and re-read all these posts. Like a previous post said, I felt quite emotional after I had it and I still do a bit now, and so thankful that I have had the chance to have it.

Thanks again to everyone who replied, hopefully everyone else won't be waiting too long for their chance x

Well done! How was it honestly? I am also terrified of needles and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do it when my time comes around - especially as it’s twice!

The needle is tiny, I honestly barely felt it and I’m not keen on injections.

@Bubblepop752

Honestly it was fine. I am the worst person when it comes to injections but I honestly didn't feel it. I actually asked the nurse if she had done it. Good luck x

It is the least painful injection I’ve ever had. I think they use a very fine needle. You may not even realise they’ve done it.
