I feel ok, when would I feel worse ?

I had a test, routine one, on Monday which has come back positive.
I feel ok, I'm cev though and was told originally by my consultant that if I get it, I'll die.

So when does it get worse, I live alone so need to be prepared

Your consultant certainly isn't very diplomatic.

I read somewhere that it's usually around 7-9 days that you start to feel worse, IF that's going to happen. My Uncle has it, it was more a headache and sickness that got to him around days 6-9. We're 2.5 weeks later, he's hardly eating anything and has no energy, but no covid symptons. He's trying to have a few bites here and there now, and able to drink a cup of tea. He'd be considered high risk as he had TB in the past, recovered from lung cancer three years ago, has had pneumonia twice in last few months and they're presently investigating him for lung cancer again. He's still with us!

Putting aside being CEV, one thing you can do for yourself is keep yourself well hydrated, ensure you get plenty of healthy food down you if you're able and I guess if you haven't been taking vitamin D it might be worth asking if someone can get a higher dose for you, or perhaps order some on Amazon prime. That way, your body has a good starting point if you have a few days of not feeling great.

Hope you feel better soon.
