Close contact where you didn’t contract Covid?

Does anyone have stories where you had contact with a covid+ person and then didn’t go on to get covid yourself? A relative has tested positive and although we were distanced, we did not have masks and I am trying to keep my anxiety from spiraling out of control.

5 members of my household (DH and DC) all caught it from each other but I didn’t. All had positive tests over 10 days but mine was negative, 3 times over the period. I still slept with DH, we had ‘relations’ etc, household carried on as normal.

I’m assuming they had the new variant as we’re on the outskirts of London and they got in it mid November. Cases in our area rocketed just before the new strain was announced.

I spent hours with my positive MIL when she was symptomatic, hugged her, shared a car.

Didn't catch it.

Oh and we're new varient plague-city here so I'm assuming it was this new one.

DH got it, he self isolated in our bedroom (I slept on sofa). Ten days later, me and ds3 got it. We then both self isolated in our bedroom. Ds1 and dd both tested negative after tests during both our isolation periods. We tested them as both felt under the weather.

My dd had it just before Christmas, 6 other people in the house did not have it or catch it afterwards
