Can I take my dc for a walk in the park?

I assume yes because playgrounds are open? We may not use the playground if busy but we will have a walk around the park and maybe play hide and seek or something. Just to make our boring day slightly more interesting (for them. I hate hide and seek). Are the polide likely to stop and fine me?

And I worry about that too. If I’ve been out once and used my allowance for that day but then have to go out again for some sort of emergency- I don’t really know what that would be, ill parent or child maybe? - and then I can’t. I feel I shouldn’t use my allowance up frivolously

I genuinely find it terrifying that anyone could think like this. It's imperative that you start thinking for yourself and use some common sense.

How would you mange without Mumsnet?

I mean apart from reading the very simple rules set out on the Government website?

@Despairandchocolatecake there is no “allowance” to how many times you can leave your house the once a day exercise is guidance and there are loads of other reasons you can leave. I honestly wonder what is going to happen to people when they have to go back to thinking for themselves and not having to rely on the government to tell them how to run their day. We are all adults just use common sense!
