Are under 5s still an exception?

I wondered this too. I hope so.

No mention of that in the 22 page guidelines.

Even if they aren’t they will be in my eyes I have a 5 month old and no way am I not meeting anyone else for weeks on end just because she is in her pram with me while we walk

Mousehole10 · 04/01/2021 21:18

Apparently not. The guidance says ‘when on your own’ you can meet one other person for exercise. I’ll be ignoring that point though.

Feministicon · 04/01/2021 21:18

They must be surely, just assume they are.

You can form a support bubble as you have a baby under one, they are still allowed. I sympathise though, I’m also going to ‘misunderstand’ and take my baby on walks with others.

You can still form support bubbles if you have a baby under 1, and a childcare bubble if you have a child under 14. So you can meet other people with your child under 1 in tow, and you can ask someone to mind your child under 14 while you exercise with an adult.
