My ds has a neurological disorder. Hereditary spastic paraparasis.
Therefore he's considered vulnerable to flu and has the vaccine each year and I get it as his carer.
As rates of covid are increasing fast and it's more transmissible I'm looking again at risk and his college asked if he's clinically vulnerable.
I got sent to the vaccine criteria and underlying conditions. Is that the only underlying conditions list?
That says neurological disease - including epilepsy.
So is there a difference? Or would his neuromuscular disorder increase his risk of more serious illness?
