How were your side effects?

I had Covid 4 weeks ago and I’m having my vaccine next week (yay!). I’ve heard that everyone gets a sore arm which is to be expected, and some people are reporting headaches and fatigue. I’m just wondering if I am less likely to have side effects if I’ve already got some immunity?

I’ve only had a week or so of feeling normal, the headache lasted on and off for over 2 weeks so I’m hoping not to have more of them 🤞

The arm pain only lasted a day or so. I’ve felt a bit ‘off’ for the past few days, better today than yesterday. And definitely worth it!

Glad all is good. Yes we are lucky to have one down. I was really impressed with my vaccination centre- so organised and smooth.

This is interesting as we all had vaccine last week at work. The ones who have already had Covid had much more reactions than the staff who haven't. It turns out quite a few have been really poorly after it. A doctor who talked to a colleague had a theory that people who have already had covid react worse than people who haven't.

I had covid in September. Had Pfizer last week and just had aching arm and bones for 24 hours - was manageable with paracetamol and still managed to go in work.

Our health board has advised that if you get any covid symptoms after having the jab, that you and your household need to self isolate and the affected person should get a test.
