I'm guessing that (after Hancocks words above) that Gav is going to announce all teachers will be vaccinated and a slight delay in returning to school until this happens. This will also explain the 12 week delay between doses as it will free up some vaccines.

However as there appears to be no scientific evidence that the jab stops you getting it, nor stops you spreading it, will this not add to the school problem which is asymptomatic people with no PPE or SD mixing with lots of people and then bringing it home. So vaccinated teachers unknowingly bringing it home after contracting it due to mixing with hundreds of unvaccinated children.

I thought this too. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Possibly weekly testing as well.

This is what I don’t understand. Yes the vaccines are fabulous news and hopefully we will see improvements in our daily lives soon. But if the vaccine doesn’t prevent you catching it or transmitting it, it doesn’t solve the issue does it? Will we still need masks and distancing? I know it will prevent people needing hospital care which is the biggest concern (after death obvs) but once 60-70% of people have had the jab will life be like normal? And will that be after the first jab or the second? I know no one knows the actual answer btw.
