Should two covid positive people share a bed?

Just that really.
Husband had positive result on Christmas Day.
Mine and DS's have just arrived. Have been sleeping downstairs since DH's first symptoms a week ago. I am desperately lonely and very anxious.
DH says it could increase viral load and we should stay apart. Googling hadn't given me an answer.

Dh and I shared a bed when I was positive. Thankfully, he was fine and it’s actually nice to have someone comfort you when you’re not well.

DH currently has covid and we are sharing a bed, we've no spare bed and I don't think either of our backs would survive the sofa!
Touch wood so far he hasn't passed it onto me . Two of our DC have also tested positive. I think I possibly me and our other two DC had it end of march/ early April but obviously no tests then so cant be sure ,but if we did have it then he and other 2 DC also didnt catch it from us in the spring so I dont think its inevitable everyone in household will get it.
The only thing about sharing a bed with him when he is ill is that i get very little sleep, as he gets up frequently, sweats loads and tosses and turns which obviously he cant help atm but if i had a spare bed I'd probably be in it!

I misread read hour question as should you share a bed if only one of you is positive. Probably best not if you can.
But if both my husband and I were positive I imagine we would share yes
