Just that really - if one member of your household tested positive for Covid, how many others also got it?
Intrigued as DH is positive for Covid and currently we're on day 8 of isolating and me and DC aren't showing any signs (I know there's still time).

Dp passed it to me and ds1.
Prior to that I'd been exposed for lengthy periods to several patients who'd had false negatives. One in particular was on high flow (70ltrs) oxygen so probably big aerosol spread. At that point we weren't wearing surgical masks for non covid patients either but weirdly I didn't catch it although 10 of us subsequently had to self isolate because of it...

DD comes out of isolation shortly, hasn't really isolated and neither DH or I seem to have succumbed.

TheIrishRover · 28/12/2020 22:28

1 out of 5 of us had it. We were all tested so i know for sure.

brimfullofasha · 28/12/2020 23:22

2 out of 4 in our house. DC was asymptomatic.

Quite a mix of answers - you'd think seeing how infectious it's supposed so be that if someone in your household has it then everyone will likely get it (although this could be the case but just asymptotically!). Tomorrow is day 10 of isolation so just hoping me and DC don't show any symptoms tomorrow!
FWIW we haven't been isolating from DH as he has felt fine (only picked up through work screening).

Not unless you tend to cough on each other regularly. Confused

OP, if your husband was asymptomatic then this may have played a part in you not getting it.
That said, DS was symptomatic and we did not contract it as far as we are aware (but did not share any spaces with him during the isolation).

All 5 of us got it

Pinkyxx · 04/01/2021 22:16

5 of us in the house. We have been very, very cautious since March due to my being vulnerable.

One teen got very mild symptoms and choose to stay in their room until test result received. Test was positive. Isolated in their room / used separate bathroom - cleaned like an insane person & had windows open all over the house. Touch would 3 weeks later none of us got it. We were all tested after 10 days - all negative.
