People who regularly cough - lanyard?

My daughter has a condition that makes her cough regularly. Is there something she can wear that will show this? I know you can get lanyards for mask exemptions but she is small and doesn’t need a mask anyway. I’m just getting tired of being terrified she coughs if we are our for a walk, or if I take her to Tesco etc. I feel terrible telling her to try not to cough - she asked me today if she was naughty.

Any ideas?

@helloxhristmas I assume that was a typo for 'mask', but I hope I'm wrong and you really do go around wearing a hawk to scare off all the judgy bastards Grin

Could have written this myself, my daughter also has a medical condition which makes her cough a lot , I’ve been terrified taking her on the bus because I’m scared someone is going to be abusive to us, whenever she coughs she gets dirty looks , I’ve asked her to wear a mask but she also had autism and refuses to wear one (she’s under the age for needing one anyway) but I thought it would help and we would get less looks if she is wearing a mask but she won’t wear one.

DS has a "habit cough", I had one as a kid too. It's a nightmare. I keep telling him to try and stop but he does it without thinking. Luckily they know and understand at school.
