Are we allowed to travel from tier 4 to a different tier 4 to exercise?
Such as go to a park/open space?

I hope so, my dd will go mad if she can’t go to the skatepark.

LimitIsUp · 26/12/2020 11:46

Just do it

RuleWithAWoodenFoot · 26/12/2020 11:47

Do what you want.

Underhisi · 26/12/2020 11:49

The guidance is stay local so as long as it is fairly local there shouldn't be an issue.

PrincessSarene · 26/12/2020 11:49

You can travel as long as you don’t cross into another Tier. But the guidance is to stay local for exercise where possible.

What I want is to follow the correct guidance Xmas Hmm

Very helpful, thank you. It's under 20 miles, in the neighbouring county.

“ do what you want” is exactly why I am in bed struggling to breathe after catching covid at work ( a school) Parents been letting children mix left right and centre at houses, parks etc and then sending them in to school. People need to think of the bigger picture

We are travelling for exercise. Our local park is small and heaving so I think it’s safer to drive a few miles and walk somewhere more spacious where we’ll not need to pass anyone at close quarters.

Depends on where you live in the country as different rules.

Scotland yes if its within 5 miles of the boundary and doing exercise which starts and ends at the same point. This may change as they are examining the restrictions!

Its an exemption in Scotland due to some very small local authorities with not much outdoor space
